During Muharram ul Harram the guidelines given by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi will be followed strictly - Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi

ISLAMABAD, November 3: The high level session of UWF was held at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad, which was presided over by the chairperson of the organization Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi in which the planning and preparation of the coming programs were reviewed in detail and important decisions were made. The representatives from all the provinces including the federal capital Islamabad attended the session and presented their progress report.

The chairperson Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi, while expressing determination, said that in the coming month of Muharram ul Harram the guidelines given by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi will be observed wholeheartedly to attain the pious objectives. She iterated that soon, the moon of Muharram ul Harram will be sighted and we will be arranging mourning programs for sixty-eight days.

She made it clear that UWF is a countrywide reliable and well-organized organization, which can be joined by local organizations and association whilst preserving their own status. She said that the purpose and objectives of the creation of UWF are the protection, propagation and promotion of the mission of Wala O Aza. From this sacred platform we have to present the pious ladies of the Islamic history as our ideal and will make this saying of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH & HHP) our fundamental principle in which she bespeaks, “Best woman is the one who is safe from the sightings of strange man”. She said that if we want to proceed forward, mothers, sisters and daughters will have to bring harmony in their home affairs, perform their role in the matters of financial management, accept to be obedient of the heads of their homes and the same way accept the UWF as their center of spiritual grooming and keep united. To strengthen the finance of the Organization, reserve money equivalent to one loaf of bread per day and by the end of the month donate this in the budget of UWF. She stressed that the stronger we are the better we will be able to get momentum to attain our objectives since the blessings of the Lady of Heaven are with us, thus generation to generation we will keep protecting this pious mission of Wala O Aza.

Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi said that the Supreme Creator blessed every individual with dignity and honor and the following verse from the Holy Quran is an evidence over it, “Almighty created Adam on the best of His creations, and blessed him with the means of transportation on the land and seas, cherished him and gave superiority over many other creations”. The word human is applied to both genders; male and female. Thus it proves that as Allah allocated responsibilities for men, so too for women. There is a tradition of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), “everyone among you is (like) a Shepherd and everyone will be questioned about his flock”. Thus even we ladies will be questioned whether the duties bestowed upon us, which are far more technical and critical in nature than the ones given to men, are done or not. For example questions about our children’s educational and practical grooming, since the lap of the mother has been declared as the first institute where the child makes his or her initial schooling. The Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) says, “Keep attaining knowledge from cradle to grave”. It is also transparently clear in the pages of history where the high and noble males of any era are highlighted, so as the great ladies also become the source of elegance and repute of success. She said that in the history of womenfolk there are great ladies whose character is like a beacon of light for the other ladies to follow. The character of Hazrat Eve (PBUH) is alongside with the character of Hazrat Adam (PBUH), we find the character of Hazrat Sara and Hazrat Hajra (PBUT) with the character of Hazrat Ibrahim Khalilullah (PBUH), Hazrat Musa (PBUH) was born at the house of a great mother who, by the Will of Almighty Allah under her strong faith, handed over her son to the waves of water and Hazrat Aasiya (PBUH) took care of Hazrat Musa (PBUH) even at the house of Pharaoh on which the verses of the Holy Quran are evident. Hazrat Maryam (PBUH) the mother of Hazrat Isa (PBUH); the spirit of Allah, was called the chief of the ladies by her own community and she was unique in her piety and piousness and it was her grooming that her son was called a Messiah. Moreover, the Chief of the Prophet and the Mercy for the Universe, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) shared the most sensitive secret of the receiving of the revelation with his wife Hazrat Khadija (PBUH) who became the first one to certify the authenticity of the Prophethood. She said that by viewing the character of all the pious and high ladies it can be understood that how important the position of womenfolk is. And then the Pious being of Hazrat Fatimah (PBUH) who is the chief of all the ladies of the entire universe and even the chief among the five most pious ladies of the world, who for a limited time period remained the consort of Imam Ali (PBUH). Then among the pious character of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (PBUT) the pious characters of their sisters Hazrat Zainab and Umme Kulthum (PBUT) are also shining, who presented everlasting and unforgettable sacrifices on the plain of Karbala and delivered charismatic sermons in the Streets of Kufa and Syria and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Zayad for the promotion of the great and pious mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH). These sermons are great lessons for the women even today.

The chairperson UWF, Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi said that at the time of the formation of our beloved homeland Pakistan, the Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was supported by his sister Fatima Jinnah and, because of their mutual efforts, Pakistan was established. Today it’s been more than sixty-five years that Pakistan has come into being, which has also been pushed into many problems from time to time. Terrorism starting from the period of Zia ul Haq is touching its heights.  Mosques, Imam Bargahs, religious institutions, schools, processions of Milaad and Mournings of Imam e Mazloom - nothing is safe from the evil of the terrorism. In these circumstances, by following the footsteps of the pious ladies of the household of the Prophethood and under the guideline of Mader e Millat e Jafariya, it was felt very much necessary to lay the foundations of UWF, because women are equally responsible for the protection and safeguarding as men. Therefore it is our utmost responsibility that the way we protect our family, clan, home and our children, the same way we should assure the protection of signs attributed to Allah. As a child could be brought up in a civilized manner and could be made as a good and law abiding citizen; if enough care is not assured while bringing up a child, different kinds of social evils can engulf the child and deviate him or her from the right path and can ruin the child’s social and religious beliefs and norms. Syeda Umme Laila Mash’hadi said that the way the assassination of one person is the slaying of entire humanity, so as the protection of one person is the protection of entire humanity. She said that we will have to pledge that we will be dutiful in the fulfillment of our responsibilities and by protecting our generations we will make them the mourners of Imam e Mazloom, because the essence of Azadari is the protection of Din and Sharia and attainment of spiritual strength.

She said that in such a crucial times when enemies are not only destroying us internally, the external ones have also entered into our homes through different kind of print and electronic media. This should be kept in mind that Islam is the only pious and pure selected religion. Remember if we want to protect our youth from evil then we will first have to adopt Islamic culture in our homes and will have to imbibe ourselves with the necessities of our religion and will have to follow the characters of the pious ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT). She said that it’s the responsibility of the members of UWF that they assure the protection of the signs attributed to Allah and exert all energies for the arrangement of the mourning assemblies and the programs of Milaad. Units of UWF should be established all around the country and by associating with Girls Guide and Sakina Generation keep in touch with the Markaz so that not only can the current objectives be achieved but also the future planning and progress can be assured. She said that because of the farsighted and visionary leadership of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the mission of Wala O Aza is promoting and, according to him, “ the love of Ameer ul Momineen is our identity and the spirit of our faith and Azadari e Imam e Mazloom is our jugular vein thus for our survival the protection of our jugular vein is utmost. She said that in actual we do not protect Azadari rather Azadari protects us and gives immortality to the Laws of Allah. Thus no compromise will be made regarding Azadari.
