UWF expresses grief over the incident of collision between the PAF trainee aircraft Government officials not taking part in the funeral services is a matter of great sorrow – Ume Laila Mash’hadi ISLAMABAD, May 19: A condolence meeting of the Ummal Banin WF, Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Sakina Generation and Girls Guide was held in their office which was presided over by the chairperson of Ummal Banin WF Ume Laila Mash’hadi. In the meeting condolences were paid over the martyrdom of the brother in law of Agha Syed Ruhul Abbas Moosavi Advocate and the uncle of Agha Syed Beharal Abbas Moosavi, the squadron leader Syed Masood Rizvi and other flight officers who lost their lives as a result of a collision between PAF aircraft during a training session. On this occasion Ume Laila Mash’hadi said that sacrificing lives for the defence of the motherland is an honourable deed and the nation is proud of those who lay down their lives for this pious cause. She said that squadron leader Syed Masood Rizvi had laid down his life during his professional duties while serving the motherland; it is a matter of great sorrow that government officials did not take part in his funeral services in the federal capital Islamabad. In the meeting special prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs in the hereafter and grief was expressed with the bereaved families.
